Blood Cousin surprised us tonight with the first single from an EP, soon to be released in the winter of 2013. “And Here We Are, 9 Meals Away From Anarchy” builds up a doomsday scenario for all of us here at Furious Hooves… and frankly we’re excited to see what comes next.

Hi.
So I worked really hard on this album. I’m overall really happy with how it turned out. I made the album I wanted to make in the ways I wanted to make it. I tried a lot of new things on this album, and I had so much fun making it. I’m saying all of this to let you know how much this means to me, not just the album but this music shit in general. It’s all I really care about and it makes me really happy to know there are people all around the world downloading and listening to my music. I love you guys and hope you enjoy this album.

Well it’s shaping up to be a Man Eating Sloth Friday! More kind words about the Schitzengigz EP, this time from the Vancouver (and all over) based blog, Hearing Gold:
1. Man Eating Sloth was introduced to me by my good friend Noah Kittinger, whose solo project Bedroom is on the same label as Man Eating Sloth. His song “Summer Morning Skytoucher,” off his new Schitzengigz EP, is so simple in its execution but so good. With an almost child-like sound to it and the captivating sounds of a flute carrying you along for the whole ride, it’s impossible not to get lost in this soothing soundscape.
We would like to extend our warm tumblr congratulations to Bedroom and Dare Dukes who have each had some grand news. EVERYONE HIGH FIVE.

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY / 15 MAY 2012 Furious Hooves will officially release the extremely limited Bedroom EP, Toys, on 24 sexy red cassette tapes, each unique and individually numbered.
As always this release was handmade by the loving hands at furhoof and will include a special surprise with each purchase. And there you have it!
Though Bedroom’s EP Toys has been out digitally now for close to 2 months and will be released on cassette via Furious Hooves very very soon, Noah Kittinger is already planning his debut LP VIVID. In this interview with earmilk.com he talks about the making of his full-length record, inspirations, lyrics vs music, kids in high school and his thoughts on 4/20.
